About the Role
We think conversational AI agents will deliver all professional services in India. We started with astrology. We're a small group of engineers, designers, and product folks building at the intersection of conversational AI and domain expertise. Making an AI agent sound human-like is hard. Making an AI an expert in a domain is also hard. We're doing both together.
For us, product role isn't management — it's building. You'll work on some of the hardest problem statements like memory, persona engineering, and evals.
What You'll Do
- Talk to users and analyse a ton of user data
- Develop deep user empathy by understanding motivations, behaviours, and emotional needs based on how they interact with our platform
- Define and own key metrics like retention, engagement, and activation
- Constantly think of new features, design user journeys, and lead 0-1 product development
- Build evaluation rubrics (persona consistency, accuracy, sycophancy) for the agent's responses
- Stay on top of AI research (internally and externally) to understand what's emerging and what it means for users
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate the product development lifecycle
What We Look For
- Value first principles thinking, craft, taste, and intuition as much as execution
- Track record as a founder, or 3+ years in product management with experience launching new products and scaling existing ones
- Deep technical background — experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams to ship technical products
- Proficient at analysing lots of data to measure engagement depth, product quality, and user satisfaction (PostHog, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Ability to draw core user insights from raw data
Bonus
- Experience with AI products — you've worked on products where LLM output quality was the core problem
- Background in QA, evaluation, or user research for subjective/open-ended systems
- You've worked at an early-stage startup where your role was defined by what the product needed, not a job title
- Understanding of the Indian consumer market — cultural context, regional differences, language preferences
How We Work
We care about craft obsessively. Your work gets questioned, pulled apart, and rebuilt — not because we're harsh, but because everyone here holds each other to a standard most places don't bother with. We work out of a hacker house in Vasant Kunj. We strongly encourage everyone to be in office.
